4 weeks until Spring and a challenge: „In The Magic Forest”/ 4 tygodnie do wiosny i wyzwanie "W Magicznym Lesie"

Last Friday my daughter brought home from pre-school a beautiful daffodil, and in our garden snowdrops are blooming and crocuses too, Spring is coming in large and bold steps.

With these thoughts in mind, I made 'Spring Angels' from salt dought: Preludes of Spring as well as Spring Faeries. 

W zeszły piątek moja córeczka przyniosła z przedszkola pięknego żonkila, a w naszym ogrodzie kwitną przebiśniegi i krokusy, idzie wiosna wielkimi krokami.

Z tą myślą zrobiłam wiosenne anioły z masy solnej: Zwiastuny Wiosny oraz Wiosenne Wróżki.

Still in the arms of Valentine's Day I made some cute Valentine's angels from dyed salt-dough, using Natalia's tutorial from the blog Sztuka niepoważna. 
Natalia has lots of interesting ideas, and I've learnt a lot from her.

Jeszcze w ramach Walentynek zrobiłam z barwionej masy solnej walentynkowe słodziaki, wykorzystałam tutorial Natalii z blogu Sztuka niepoważna. 
Natalia ma dużo ciekawych pomysłów, wiele się od niej uczę.

  

Some time ago I took part in the 'Exchange of Love' competition at Morrora. This is what the postman brought me today. A lovely notebook, a felt gingerbread man for hanging and small pincusions. I was particularly charmed by the four-leaf clover. It will be attached to my handbag. Lots of useful things to do with serviettes for decoupage, knick-knacks for scrapbooking, sweets as well as beautiful Valentine's cards made by 'mathematical embroidery.' Thank you my blog-mate Iwona from the blog Handmade Art  whom sent me these gifts.

  

Jakiś czas temu wzięłam udział w Miłosnej wymianie u Morrory. Oto co dziś przyniósł mi listonosz. Wspaniały notes, filcowe zawieszki i poduszeczki. Urzekła mnie koniczynka. Będzie zawieszką do mojej torebki. Mnóstwo przydasi w postaci serwetek do decoupagu, drobiazgów do scrapbookingu, słodkości oraz przepiękną kartkę walnetynową wykonaną haftem matematycznym. Dziekuję mojej blogowej koleżance Iwonie z blogu Handmade Art gdyż to ona mnie obdarowała.

Happy Valentine's Day/ Udanych Walentynek

Today again Valentine's, small (6-7cm) red angels from salt dough, painted with acrylic paint, lacquered and caringly packaged.

Dziś znów walentynkowo, malutkie (6-7cm) czerwone aniołki z masy solnej, pomalowane farbą akrylową, lakierowane i starannie zapakowane.

A jewellery box or for other small knick-knacks made using the decoupage technique as well as my first attempt at crackling.

  

Pudełko na biżuterię czy inne drobiazgi zdobione techniką decoupage oraz moja pierwsza próba spękań.

  

My Valentine's pair have already flown to their new owners. Meanwhile there remains the next pair for Ala and Krzys. I packaged them making good use of

Not long until Valentine's.
This time it's a pair of angels in love. "I love Friday" made to order, and I hope that the remainders also find their true owners. 

Niedługo Walentynki.
Tym razem pary zakochanych aniołków. "I love Friday" zrobiona na zamówienie, mam nadzieję że pozostałe też znajdą swoich właścicieli.

Black Cat/ Czarny kot

Today it's a black cat in the starring role. The first attempt of decoupage on glass, and that's how the jar for knick-knacks, cookies or spices, sugar, coffee and tea came to be. To complete the look there is also another black cat made from salt dough and with a fridge magnet attached to the back.


Dziś czarny kot  w roli głównej. Pierwsza próba decoupage na szkle, i tak oto powstał słoik na drobiazgi, ciasteczka bądź przyprawy, kawę, herbatę. Do kompletu magnes na lodówkę i czarny kot  z masy solnej.

 

Grandmother’s day and Grandfather’s day/ Dzień Babci i Dzień Dziadka

The 21st and 22nd of January in Poland is Grandmother’s day and Grandfather’s day respectively. Here then are the cards created for our Grandmas and Grandfathers.

21 i 22 stycznia w Polsce obchodzi się Dzień Babci i Dzień Dziadka. Dlatego powstały kartki dla naszych babć i dziadka.

Even though this holiday isn’t celebrated in England, our Grandmother still gets her cards.

Happy Grandparents day to all Grandmothers and Grandfathers.

I choć w Anglii nie obchodzi się Dnia babci, nasza babcia kartki dostanie.
